About
Sulabh International is India's pioneer in public sanitation, having constructed over 1.5 million household toilets and 8,500 community toilet complexes across the country since 1970. Beyond infrastructure, Sulabh works on the rehabilitation of manual scavengers and the promotion of human dignity in sanitation work. Its biogas plants convert waste to energy, demonstrating sustainable sanitation models that have influenced national policy.
